Happy Tuesday, my dears. How's the week been treating you so far?
I am super excited because my Planner Pad is due to arrive today! I first heard about the Planner Pad from Kimberly Wilson, and since that time have heard many more of you sing its praises. I finally decided that I need to see what all the hype is about. From what I've read, it sounds like the format helps you to not only organize, but also prioritize, which I think will be extremely helpful.
This may make me sound hopelessly dorky, but there's something so satisfying about the prospect of organizing the next few months of my life! After I go to the gym and eat dinner, I'm going to sit down with a mug of tea and map everything out. Ahh...
Do you use a Planner Pad? What do you like about it?
xo,
P.S. Thanks to those of you who chimed in with advice about the size. I went with the Executive size because I like to have extra space. I'll let you know what I think!

I switched to a Planner Pad about a year ago...also do to Kimberly's recommendation (don't you just lover her). Last year I used the executive size but decided this year to switch to the personal size. For me this has worked out well as I can carry it in most of my purses and I like that. I even decorated mine this year (again...listening to Kimberly) and have gotten so many compliments on it.
I have a feeling you will love yours. Good Luck,
Kathi
Congratulations on your first Planner Pad. My Planner Pad changed my life.
Let me know how you like it. I've never used one and I am so hopelessly disorganized that I don't think that it will help me - so I'm anxious to hear your report!
I love mine! I use an executive size. I've used it since '07 and it is very helpful. I look forward to hearing what you think.
My whole life is in my Blackberry... i have limited the amount of things I carry with me because I actually carry tons of stuff!
I bought a planner pad this year too (ofcourse on Kimberly's recommendation)..I bought the personal size as I thought it would be more portable but i think I might need the executive size as I like to ramble a little while planning plus I like jotting down micro tasks.Let me know how you like it- I love journal, notebooks and planner pad talk..:)
I love the 'thought' of organizing too!
This is how I 'decorated my plannerpad:

I love the fact that I have space to figure out all the tasks for the week before assigning them to days and/or times. Writing them down helps me not get anxious about my tasks. I have never used a planner before this but this one felt pretty 'right'..:).
I would love to hear how you review the planner pad after you've used it for a while. I too heard about it from Kimberly Wilson but as I have a sort of listing and planning obsession beyond the practical use for it I worried it would waste more time for me than save time. I've still considered ordering one from time to time though! I'm a total nerd with that kind of thing, I lovvve new notebooks and especially making detailed color-coded plans in them!
I'm echoing Ashley's request for a review, please. Right now I have my life pretty much on one spreadsheet(!) but I'm always fascinated by other people's organization tools.
Yay for executive size!! Have fun decorating it, that's the best part.
