Log cabin lust

Oh my. How magical is this log cabin (via this New York Times home tour)? I can just imagine lounging away an entire sunny afternoon on that screened porch, with a good book in hand. The neatest part? The whole thing - down to the chandeliers - was handmade by its owner. Now that is some talent.

I love the tall ceilings and all the wood. The little wire loveseat on the porch doesn't look very comfortable, though! I'd sub a nice plush armchair/ottoman combo.

You're right. It doesn't look that comfortable. Maybe with enough fluffy pillows...

oh my goodness, that is breathtaking! move over because I'm ready for some serious lounging on that sunporch too! (perhaps we can have a book club meeting there??)

Your blog is quite adorable, and I think you're quite too.

I wish my home would look like this. I love interior decoration. I can't wait to have my own place and a job that will allow me to go all out when decorating my place :)
